Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Psychologist/Counsellor to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychological and counselling support to students, helping them overcome emotional, social, and behavioural challenges. Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom observations and assessments to identify students’ emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
- Develop tailored intervention plans that support students’ mental health, social skills, and academic success.
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to help students manage stress, anxiety, behavioural issues, or other personal challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement effective strategies for supporting students with special education needs.
- Facilitate workshops or training sessions on topics such as emotional regulation, social skills development,



or conflict resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, progress notes, and case records in compliance with school policies.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and special education to continuously enhance service quality.

Experience

- Prior classroom experience working directly with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs or special education requirements.
- Solid communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Demonstrated ability to assess behavioural and emotional issues accurately and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with school-based mental health programs and familiarity with relevant legislation or policies related to special education.
