: SDET – Playwright Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with robust expertise in Playwright automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks, validating web applications, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.




- Ensure software quality through automation best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- Experience in Software Testing/Quality Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with performance or security testing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is an advantage.
