The Town of Tisdale Recreation and Parks Department is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks and Recreation Worker to join our team for the 2026 season.

Position Responsibilities:

- Report directly to the Foreman and the Director of Recreation & Parks.
- Maintenance and upkeep of parks, green spaces, trails, cemetery grounds, and recreational facilities
- Operation and basic maintenance of department equipment and machinery
- Lawn care, landscaping, and groundskeeping duties
- Assisting with set-up and tear-down of recreational events and facilities
- Ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and well maintained
- Work collaboratively with all staff to meet operational goals
- Perform additional duties and provide additional support as assigned.





Preferred Qualifications/skills include:

- It is expected that ALL applicants will include copies of all current certifications and awards when they apply.
- Valid drivers license and drivers abstract
- Possess and demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge in various types of equipment
- Responsible, self-motivated, team-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety

- Job Status Seasonal Temporary Full-Time commencing as soon as possible and ending October 2, 2026-
- Applicant(s) may be considered for future full time positions
- Wage Range $20.00/hr. (benefits as per Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 777-02)
