Job Title: Security Professional (Floater) - Industrial Site

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard (Floater) in Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan.

Job Type: Casual

Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Shifts: Monday-Sunday

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Professional to oversee security operations at our Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan location.

Requirement

- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Saskatchewan security guard training certificate or willing to obtain.
- The company will provide the security guard training if needed.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada over 30 hours per week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or equivalent work experience
- Must be available to work on-call shifts.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
- Must be a permanent resident or Canadian Citizen.
- Must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 full Driver’s License

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions

- Access control for the facility/area
- Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times




- Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site-specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site-required training
- Vehicle Gate and Console duties
