Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant ensures accuracy and completeness of financial statements across multiple business units.
You will lead month-end and year-end close, prepare management reports, and file GST/HST returns. Robust technical skills in accounting and tax regulations are vital for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
- File GST/HST returns per regulatory requirements
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts Requirements:
- CPA designation or working towards it
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and Excel
