Key Activities and Responsibilities

Lead and manage client engagements, delivering high-quality audit, tax, and advisory services

Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies,



including the review and implementation of process and system changes

Review tax provisions for clients

Build positive working relationships with clients and respond effectively to their requests and suggestions

Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for various clients

Stay current on the content and practical applications of tax, accounting, and assurance standards, and know how to access and research professional and technical materials

Design and review processes, procedures, and workflows within the department

Collaborate with managers and other senior managers for capacity and resource planning

Qualifications and Experience

Completion of Chartered Qualified Accountant (CPA) designation

Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a proven track record of success in client service and business development

Strong technical skills in accounting, auditing, and tax compliance

Experience working with Caseware/Caseview, Jazzit, Keystone, Excel, and Profile

Advanced Canadian tax knowledge personal, corporate, excise, and advanced knowledge of Canadian GAAPs ASPE and ASNFPO

Ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior staff
