Our financial services client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer (6+ years) to design and implement Agentic AI and AI/ML solutions using Python, AWS, TensorFlow, and sklearn

This role focuses on architecting Agentic AI applications, developing AI/ML models, and supporting scalable cloud-based systems in a global technology environment. The position offers exposure to enterprise AI initiatives, cloud platform design, and cutting-edge AI/ML techniques supporting critical business applications.

Permanent, Toronto, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

- 6+ years in Python development
- 4+ years’ experience in AWS or other cloud
- 3+ years building Machine Learning models using sklearn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks
- 3+ years building Deep Learning models and Neural Networks
- 2+ years building AI systems and AI Agents including Agentic AI, AgentOps, and LLMOps




- Bachelor or Master’s in Computer Science or related field

Nice to Have

- 4+ years working with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Serverless architecture
- AI-assisted development using agentic coding tools such as Kiro and Copilot
- Experience giving large technical demos to wide-ranging audiences
- Experience supporting large-scale systems

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions supporting business requirements
- Architect Agentic AI applications following best practices
- Research and implement AI/ML techniques and industry trends
- Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
- Participate in performance and load testing to improve scalability and performance
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment automation
- Document solutions and maintain knowledge base updates

Salary Range: CAD $105,000 to CAD $135,000
