Configuration Analysis & Inventory Strategy Specialist

We support our client, a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry, in their search for a Configuration Analysis & Inventory Strategy Specialist to contribute to the optimization of inventory strategies, configuration management, and aeronautical maintenance activities.

Role and responsibilities

- Thoroughly analyze parts as well as configuration and consumption data to anticipate needs related to Major Overhauls (C-Checks).
- Evaluate the technical impact of each component and perform risk and benefit analyses to recommend whether or not to integrate parts into inventory.
- Analyze and configure technical assemblies using maintenance documentation (AMP, IPDP, ASRP) as well as technical plans under CATIA and ENOVIA .
- Integrate technical data from engineering teams, technical meetings (ASRP ICY), and technical publications (Tech Pubs) into information systems.
- Manage Operator Support Packages (OSP) and validate spare parts data to ensure their availability and compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the continuous improvement of configuration management and inventory strategy processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, logistics, procurement teams, and stakeholders to ensure parts availability and smooth operations.
- Demonstrate responsiveness to unforeseen operational events and contribute to the resolution of technical issues.
- Perform any other related tasks as needed for the project.

Desired profile





- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an aeronautical maintenance environment, particularly during Major Overhauls (C-Checks) .
- You possess excellent knowledge of aircraft structures, parts, their installation, and the integration of on-board systems.
- You are proficient in reading and interpreting technical plans.
- You possess a solid knowledge of maintenance documentation (AMP, IPDP, ASRP ).
- You are proficient in SAP , CATIA , ENOVIA tools, and the Google Suite .
- Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
- You possess excellent analytical skills and are able to formulate technical recommendations based on complex data analyses.
- You are recognized for your autonomy, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- You are versatile and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- You are fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing.
