Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct independent analyses of processes to provide expert advice on the effectiveness of risk management practices.
- Conduct internal audit activities that enhance risk management and controls to help the organization meet its business objectives.
- Consult with colleagues on business unit objectives and processes, including risks and controls.
- Develop and execute audit plan and program, defining steps needed to evaluate internal controls.
- Use qualified judgment to conclude effectiveness of risk management.
- Report results to management.

What you’ll need
- A degree in commerce and an accounting or audit designation plus five to seven years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Expertise with internal audit practices, theories and trends.
- Understanding of risk management practices.
- Knowledge of specialized audit software and tools.
