Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join a growing team in Toronto, Ontario. This role is ideal for a skilled who enjoys working with data, improving business processes, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing compensation-related reporting, payment governance, process optimization, and cross-functional initiatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Responsibilities

- Execute and strengthen financial, payment, and operational controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and reporting enhancements.

- Lead compensation-related projects, coordinating communications and deliverables with internal teams and external business partners.

- Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

- Analyze business requirements, contracts, and payment structures to ensure successful implementation within operational systems.

- Conduct audits and reconciliations to validate payment accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.

- Perform detailed data analysis and business investigations to identify trends, resolve issues, and provide actionable recommendations.





- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support ongoing business initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes, enhance data quality, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Strong working knowledge of SQL, SAS, Oracle, Teradata, or similar database and analytical tools.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- University degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

- Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful business recommendations.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Experience managing projects, driving process improvements, and supporting business transformation initiatives.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from planning through execution.

- Experience with telecommunications, compensation programs, or payment governance is considered an asset.

- Familiarity with internal enterprise systems, business processes, and reporting platforms is an asset.

- French language proficiency is required for positions located in Quebec.
