Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Agile) to deliver current and evolutionary digital loyalty solutions.

As the Senior Business Analyst (Agile) you will serve as the ultimate facilitator between the Business and IT in truly understanding the business’s needs and playing a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle.

Using proven methods and tools, you will lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support – in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups.

You will work on projects that use Agile Scrum delivery, and may also be called upon to lead other IT project work based on changing project demands.

Work alongside business and development partners to deliver solutions for internal and external customer facing application using an Agile framework

Form a partnership with the business teams to deeply understand their business in order to enable the capture of clear, concise, and correct business requirements

Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional (for business needs)



and non-functional requirements (quality attributes, scalability, interfaces, constraints, etc.)

Convey business requirements and design concepts with models such as gap analysis, use cases, prototypes, etc. Responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables – process flows, test cases, etc. – Provide project management support using approved project management processes, tools, and techniques

Provide UAT support to business using test cases based off user stories

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role with exposure to anAgile project-based environment

Experience with loyalty campaigns (an asset)

Experience with marketing, or digital (web/app) spaces (an asset)

In-depth knowledge of project and software development methodologies/techniques – including Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall

Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time and under tight deadlines

This is a minimum 6 month contract role located in Toronto, ON with a likely extension beyond the initial term. #
