Could it be you?About the role As an IT Resiliency Specialist, you will make an impact by helping large financial services clients assess, strengthen, and continuously improve the resilience of their critical business transactions and supporting technology platforms. You will be a valued member of Cognizant’s Consulting team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders across technology, operations, architecture, and business functions.This role is well‑suited for a consultant with strong experience in technology risk, operational resilience, and enterprise programs within complex, regulated environmentsIn this role, you will:Assess the resilience of critical IT systems, applications, and infrastructure against business criticality, recovery objectives (RTO/RPO), and operational risk.Identify technology risks, dependencies, and single points of failure that may impact business continuity and transaction resilience.Conduct current‑state assessments using operational data, documentation reviews, and stakeholder workshops across IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Disaster Recovery domains.Develop clear, actionable recommendations and business cases to improve resiliency capabilities and mitigate identified risks.Facilitate working sessions and executive‑ready discussions,



translating complex findings into concise insights and storyboards for senior stakeholders.What you must have to be consideredBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).5–8 years of experience in management consulting, technology risk, or enterprise program delivery, ideally within financial services.Strong working knowledge ofbusiness continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) principles (e.G., ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL).Experience assessing IT architecture, infrastructure, and operational environments, including recovery, backup, and resiliency design concepts.Advanced analytical and communication skills, with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.These will help you succeedPrior consulting experience supporting large financial institutions or highly regulated enterprises.Familiarity with IT operations metrics, performance indicators, and executive‑level reporting.Experience working with data and insights using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading cross‑functional workshops and stakeholder discussions.Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.We’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
