This co-op role sits within the RAN SW Compute & Platforms Engineering and RAN Performance development groups in Ottawa, focused on delivering business analytics that empower organizational leaders to make better decisions in development quality, planning, and predictability.
What You Will Do
- Be part of a team delivering business analytics to support organizational decision-making
- Build and maintain business analytics software on a large data warehouse
- Develop software for the extraction, cleaning, formatting, and delivery of business data from multiple sources — including code builds, test tracing, defect tracking, project management, and product delivery
- Work with large-scale business data sets
- Collaborate with team members across the organization
- Apply Agile ways of working
- Review software designs
- Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues
The Skills You Bring
- Proficiency in C# or Java programming
- SQL coding skills
- Knowledge of .NET development
- Familiarity with databases and/or database administration
- Understanding of business intelligence, analytics, data mining,
and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of large-scale product development (experience in telecommunications is an asset)
Eligibility requirements
- 2.7+ GPA or equivalent; uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or Master’s program on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op
- Be available to work 40 hours per week during the co-op term

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive package. Pay is dependent on factors including location and the candidate’s knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
- Bachelors: $25.5 - $34.5 CAD
- Masters: $37 CAD
