Our client, a private holding company owning a variety of investments and businesses in iconic Canadian companies is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join them on a 6-month contract. Full cycle accounting for multiple entities, which include: Preparing key balance sheet account reconciliations and investigating/resolving differences.

Preparing investment continuity schedules.

Assist with preparing the quarter-end financial statements and variance analysis.

Processing accounts receivable billings and cash receipts.

Processing payment runs via electronic fund transfers and investment transactions via wire payments.

Assist in monthly and ad-hoc investment performance reporting packages.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

1+ years in accounting/finance role or equivalent in relevant experience.





Experiences and industry knowledge in financial services and/or asset managements is required for the role.

Experience in technical accounting knowledge (ASPE) is an asset.

Possess strong financial accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be highly organized, versatile, detail and results oriented.
