As an RN, you will work within the Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry Program, providing critical care in a 20-bed unit. Your responsibilities will include assessment, stabilization, and management of complex behaviors to support transitions to long-term care. Collaboration with an interprofessional team is vital, ensuring that patient needs are met with expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care for dementia patients
• Conduct assessments and treatment plans for diverse behaviors
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team on patient strategy




• Maintain documentation and clinical assessments accurately
• Model Recovery philosophy in all patient interactions
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications
• Solid knowledge of CNO Standards of Practice
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• BScN preferred, experience with Meditech is a plus
