We are seeking a committed Emergency Physician for the Emergency Department at Squamish General Hospital, a facility known for its high-quality care. The position is full time, including a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends. You’ll be responsible for emergency cases and provide crucial cross-coverage to the inpatient unit and long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care in a 13-bed rural trauma centre
• Operate single-coverage physician shifts in the ED
• Provide urgent care for inpatient and long-term care patients




• Collaborate with diagnostic units like CT and ultrasound
• Connect with specialists for effective patient management
Requirements:
• Must be licensed in BC by the College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Requires CCFP certification and advanced life support qualifications
• Preference for candidates with over five years of related experience
• Ideal candidates should be based in or around Squamish
• CMPA certification is mandatory
