North York, ON | Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite) | 12-Month Contract | Possibility of Extension

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting or finance skilled with strong month-end close experience, ERP implementation exposure, and a track record of supporting finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Complete bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies while maintaining financial accuracy.
- Actively support ERP implementation, system enhancements, and finance transformation projects, including testing, process improvements, and user adoption.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Prepare financial analysis,



reports, and presentations for Finance leadership.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to support ongoing business initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience participating in ERP implementation, finance transformation, or process improvement projects is required.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index/Match, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA is considered an asset.
