Key Responsibilities
- Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor project financial performance and assist with forecasting and budgeting.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for receivables, payables, and accruals.
- Provide support for accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and payments when required.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Prepare indirect tax filings and related remittances.
- Support the accounting team with a variety of financial and administrative duties.
- Perform additional accounting responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within property, construction,
or project-based industries.
- Experience working with multiple companies or entities is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheet software and standard office applications.
- Ability to learn new accounting and financial management systems quickly.
- Experience with property management or construction accounting software is an asset.
