Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and presentation of annual budgets, long‑range forecasts, and monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to support senior leadership and Command‑level decision‑making
- Monitor spending across units and branches to ensure adherence to approved budgets and financial policies
- Administer, maintain,
and enhance financial planning and reporting systems, tools, and modelling frameworks
- Conduct monthly spending analyses, year‑end projections, and detailed variance reporting
- Audit key expenditure categories including payroll, capital projects, and cost‑recovery revenue
- Develop and deliver training sessions for leaders and finance staff on budgeting processes, reporting tools, and system utilization
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports, benchmarking studies, and insights for internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous process improvement within the Finance Unit by identifying and implementing workflow and system enhancements
- Support special projects, new initiatives, and cross‑functional financial reviews as required
