Overview
We are seeking a agile and highly skilled Senior Healthcare Technology Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within the healthcare sector. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise healthcare technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams utilizing Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall, and other project management methodologies to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of healthcare software solutions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria; facilitate requirements gathering sessions and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite for project planning, tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Manage release management activities including deployment schedules,
disaster recovery planning, and post-implementation support to ensure seamless software releases.
- Monitor project progress through analysis skills and organizational techniques; communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams to provide updates on milestones and risks.
- Drive program management initiatives that incorporate cloud computing platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services), enterprise software solutions, databases such as SQL and Oracle, and integration with existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards such as PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and best practices in project management methodology while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Lead efforts in requirements analysis, process improvement initiatives using Kanban or other Agile frameworks, and user training sessions to maximize system adoption.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale healthcare technology programs with a strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, TFS, and PMBOK standards.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing environments with hands-on experience in AWS or similar platforms.
- Strong technical background in enterprise software development, databases (SQL, Oracle), SDLC processes, release management, disaster recovery planning, and software development best practices such as test-driven development.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Excellent analysis skills for requirements gathering and process optimization; adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT), project implementation phases, program management activities including risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective time management to prioritize tasks efficiently across diverse initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
