As the Product Development Assistant (PDA), you support the Product Creation Development Team in developing a consistent level of quality, promoting Arc’teryx as a brand that consistently exceeds customer expectations. The role is based at our North Vancouver office and is performed on location. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team

We are a small, high‑performing team that works closely with all aspects of product creation. We support Designers and Product Developers to accomplish go‑to‑market deliverables. You will be part of a focused team of Product Developers, Designers, Design Developers, Pattern Makers and a Cut & Sew team that works to create innovative products. Our team builds strong relationships with cross‑functional partners to realize ideas into commercialized successes.

Responsibilities

- Support the Product Creation Development Team with all aspects of product development, including data entry, compiling spec packages, coordinating raw materials for sampling, product testing and washing for concept and proto samples.
- Organize approved raw material inventory within the design centre and support the material needs for the design maker phase.
- Contribute to the design maker phase alongside product creation partners.
- Support throughout the sample process, from concepting through to fit‑approved stage.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all PDA responsibilities against product creation calendars.
- Prepare commercial invoices, track packages to factories and provide product details to support logistic requirements, from concept through to fit‑approved stage.
- Organize and maintain team sample racks.
- Organize all sampling inventory and archiving.
- Order approved raw materials,



stock transfers and supplies for the Design and Development teams as required.
- Uphold Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain.

Future Working Areas

- Create strong cross‑functional relationships with Raw Materials, Design, and Cut & Sew teams, among others.
- Collaborate to create efficient processes in fabric material inventories, sample tracking and shipping.
- Support Product Developers in managing models.

Qualifications

- Post‑secondary education in apparel or textile design, technology, merchandising, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of garment construction.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Intercultural fluency and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proactive identification of root causes and development of solutions.
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
- Effective balance of autonomy and collaboration.
- Inspiration for breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to doing what is right with a focus on best solutions.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is CAD$46,000 - CAD$60,000.

Total Rewards

Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, contributing right away while continuing to grow their craft,



collaborations, and impact at Arc’teryx. The range reflects market alignment and scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
