Markham
Multimatic is expanding the use of Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace (web client) across engineering. We have an initial proof of concept in place and need a hands‑on specialist to help bring it to a level that works for the entire organization.
This role is technical and practical. You will be directly involved in configuring, extending, and maintaining Teamcenter Active Workspace – working alongside strong engineers who understand our design workflows but not the underlying Teamcenter architecture (BMIDE, reporting, stylesheets, etc.). This is not a consulting, advisory, or people management role. The deployment is specific to a Teamcenter Active Workspace deployment, not the Rich Client, but a working knowledge of Rich Client is important for backend configuration.
Responsibilities
Establish clear, maintainable patterns for configuration, data modeling, and deployment
Configure andmaintainthe Teamcenter data model using BMIDE (business objects, attributes, LOVs, relations, rules)
Testconfiguration and data model changes to ensuresuccessful deploymentwithoutnegativelyaffectingexisting implementation
Manage deployments across environments and ensure changes are controlled and understandable by others
Edit andmaintainActive Workspace stylesheets (XRT)to controlcreate pages, summary views, and attribute visibility
Work closely with internal engineers, explaining how the system works and the rationale behind design decisions
Produce clear documentation andrun booksso the system does not depend on tribal knowledge
Mandatory Qualifications
5+yearshands-onexperience with Siemens Teamcenter in a production environment
Strong working knowledge of BMIDE and Teamcenter data model concepts.
Direct experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace (configuration and administration; experience with Rich Client alone is not sufficient)
Experience editing ormaintainingActive Workspace stylesheets (XRT) or equivalent UI configuration
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Knowledge of Teamcenter Dispatcher Client application and troubleshooting
Robust communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others while confidently making technical decisions.
**Nice to Have Qualifications**
Experience with Teamcenter reporting / PLMXML / report builder concepts
Experience with at leastone ofNX or CATIA V5 in an engineering environment
MultiCADor OEM/supplier data exchange experience
Hands-on experience withSOA and ITK customization
Knowledge of Teamcenter Workflowcreation,modificationandWorkflow handlers

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract with possibility of permanent conversion.
This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:
$66,475.00 - $116,475.00
