Responsibilities - Analyze engineering changes across naval ships, systems, and equipment—including structures, materials, welding, coatings and preservation, shock and vibration, damage control systems, and piping - Lead or support technical investigations and engineering studies to assess performance, reliability, and compliance - Provide expert input to engineering specifications, design documentation, and technical drawings - Review, update,
and maintain technical documentation for naval systems and equipment to ensure accuracy and alignment with current standards Qualifications Education - Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture Engineering Experience and Requirements - Minimum 8 years of experience in shipbuilding, shipyard operations, or marine engineering - Proficiency in 3D modeling and/or 2D drafting tools - Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite - Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities - Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation through your local provincial or territorial engineering regulatory body Must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian Government Security Clearance.
