Prepare shipping documents, including air freight and sea freight documentation
Coordinate with permit declarants for Customs documentation and submissions
Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery updates to customers
Verify vendors’ invoices and agents’ debit notes
Arrange payments to co-loaders and carrier, track orders and ensure payment terms are adhered to
Provide timely and quality customer service for shipment status updates and coordination for internal and external stakeholders
Handle daily cargo clearance and export permit submissions via TradeNet
Maintain accurate records of permits and related documentation
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline
- Minimum 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Experience in freight forwarding industry preferred
- Valuable knowledge of import/export processes and Singapore Customs documentation
- Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants certification will be an added advantage
- Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team
