Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our educational team. This role is vital in supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children, including those with disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood teaching.

Responsibilities
Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood education standards
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through engaging interactions
Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods
Help create a protected, inclusive, and stimulating learning workplace
Support individual learning needs,



including working with children with disabilities or special needs
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere
Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness
Observe and document children's progress and behavior for assessment purposes

Requirements
Prior classroom experience or experience working with children is an asset
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Solid communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in child development
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Must be at least 18 years old and committed to fostering a positive learning setting

Pay: $20.15-$22.15 per hour
