Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Butcher to join our cutting room. This role involves exact meat cutting, weighing and packaging, within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the beef industry, particularly in butchery and meat processing, with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a energetic setting where craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols are paramount.

Duties
Perform meat cutting and trimming according to specified product standards using appropriate tools and techniques
Package finished products efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Operate machinery related to food processing and packaging, ensuring proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed
Maintain high levels of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, including equipment and workstations
Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking product quantities and storage conditions
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes and food safety practices

Requirements




Proven experience in butchery or meat cutting within the food industry
Knowledge of packaging techniques and manufacturing processes specific to meat products
Robust understanding of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene practices
Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining processing equipment is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent understanding of food safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks as required
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to all safety guidelines

Pay: $24.50-$35.00 per hour
