Equipment World - Thunder Bay is seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding team of Technical Installers!

Technical Installers assemble & install a variety of industrial/commercial products. Our product range includes metal shelving, cabinets, warehouse racking, mezzanines, storage shelters/enclosures, lockers, loading dock equipment, hoists/lifting equipment, washroom partitions & accessories, and construction specialties.

Our Tech Installers follow a combination of manufacturer guidelines and project drawings developed by our Technical design team to install products for a wide range of organizations within Thunder Bay and the surrounding region including anything from schools, healthcare settings, and commercial warehouses to active industrial sites such as mines, mills, and factories. Projects will intermittently require out of town travel and after hours work.

Desired Experience and Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Use of power tools
Use of tape measure and levels
Equipment operation (such as forklift or scissor lift)
Construction or skilled trades background
Assembly of components or systems
Physical labour and material handling
Demolition or site preparation




Reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings
Valid driver’s license (required for travel)

Out of town travel is required.
