Duties:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
Assist in cooking and preparing various dishes under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor - Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate food production
Follow recipes and presentation specifications Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or relevant role in the food service industry
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Understanding of kitchen operations and procedures
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary terminology
Understanding of basic cooking methods and techniques
