Senior Die Designer / Design Lead

Our client, An Automotive Tooling manufacturer located in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a highly skilled Senior Die Designer / Die Design Leader. In this pivotal role, you will lead die design projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical excellence and providing critical support throughout the manufacturing process.

Core Responsibilities
Die Design: Lead the design of progressive, transfer, and line dies.
Customer Engagement: Act as a technical point of contact for customers during design reviews and follow-up meetings.
Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical guidance to the machining, tryout, and build teams throughout the die manufacturing lifecycle.
Process Layout: Develop comprehensive process layouts for part data.
Surface Development: Develop trim lines, morph surfaces, and perform technical troubleshooting.
Documentation:



Maintain precise and complete documentation records for all die designs.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 7–10 years of dedicated tool design experience.
Software Proficiency: * ProE/Creo 7.0 (Required)
NX (Asset)
AutoForm (Asset)
Technical Expertise: Strong background in 3D design and Solid Modelling.
Industry Knowledge: A solid background in metal stamping is considered a significant asset.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
