A Taleo client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multiple client-facing technology and consulting projects. This role requires someone who can work independently, anticipate project needs, and provide structure and visibility across complex, fast-moving engagements.
Working closely with Project Managers, consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders, the Senior Project Coordinator will support project governance, planning, reporting, financial tracking, resource coordination, and overall delivery. They will also be responsible for independently managing select smaller projects from initiation through completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator who is ready to take on increased project ownership and continue developing their project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate multiple concurrent client projects from initiation through completion
Independently manage smaller projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, action logs, decision logs, and deliverable trackers
Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling conflicts, dependencies, risks, and potential delivery issues
Prepare weekly status reports, project dashboards, steering committee materials, and executive-level updates
Lead project meetings, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, documenting decisions, and following up on action items
Support project governance by maintaining RAID logs, change requests, approvals, and project documentation
Coordinate resources across business, functional, and technical workstreams
Track project budgets, forecasts, invoices, purchase orders, resource utilization, and other financial information
Support resource planning, onboarding, offboarding, and allocation across projects
Work directly with internal and client stakeholders to gather updates, resolve outstanding items, and maintain alignment
Assist Project Managers with scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and change-management activities
Escalate risks, issues, and decisions appropriately while recommending practical next steps
Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, templates, reporting, and governance practices
Maintain organized and audit-ready project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Support and provide guidance to junior Project Coordinators when required
Qualifications
Five or more years of project coordination, project administration, PMO, or related project delivery experience
Demonstrated experience independently managing smaller projects or significant project workstreams
Experience supporting complex technology, systems implementation, consulting, or business-transformation projects
Experience coordinating multiple projects, workstreams, stakeholders,
and competing priorities
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance practices, and delivery lifecycles
Experience preparing project plans, status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, financial trackers, and executive presentations
Strong financial administration skills, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing, and resource utilization
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, judgment, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently, anticipate next steps, and confidently communicate with senior and client stakeholders
Previous experience in a qualified services or client-facing consulting environment is strongly preferred A project management certification or formal training, such as CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2, is considered an asset
What Makes This Role Senior
This position goes beyond traditional project coordination. The successful candidate will take ownership of key project delivery activities and independently manage smaller projects while supporting Project Managers on larger, more complex engagements.
They will be expected to provide meaningful oversight across schedules, finances, governance, risks, resources, and stakeholder commitments, acting as a trusted delivery partner to both internal consulting teams and client stakeholders.
