Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service in the kitchen
Create and implement menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workplace
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
Skills:
Extensive experience in the food industry, preferably in a leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
Excellent culinary skills with a focus on food handling, preparation, and presentation
Ability to supervise and motivate a team of kitchen staff
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
