Job Description: In- Home Caregiver is required for a 4year-old child

Work Setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Job duties:
Supervise and care for child while parents are at work
Oversee child’ activities, such as meals and rest periods
Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
Tend to the emotional well-being of child
Plan, prepare and serve meals for child and may perform light housekeeping duties as well as laundry
Take child to and from appointments
Maintain a healthy workplace in the home
Preferably Filipino to teach about culture and language.

Experience and Qualifications:
Completion of high school




At least 6 months of Caregiver training or equivalent, or at least 7 months of full-time paid experience as a child caregiver in the past three years
CPR and First Aid an asset
Able to speak, write and read English and Tagalog
Criminal record check required

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 30 - 40 hours per week (may require evenings and weekends; schedule will be given in advance) Advantages include extended health care, 2 weeks of paid holidays

Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
