Victoria Kitchen is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pastry Assistant to join our culinary team. This role involves supporting the preparation and decoration of a variety of baked goods and desserts, ensuring high-quality presentation and adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust interest in decorating, baking and food preparation. Responsibilities
Assist in preparing a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using various cake decorating techniques and an assortment of icings
Support food preparation activities including mixing, baking, and assembling baked goods
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations




Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils
Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff

Requirements
Previous experience in baking, cake decorating, or working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to engage positively with team members
A passion for baking and culinary arts with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
