Glenhaven Memorial Gardens is seeking a dedicated Seasonal Groundsperson for a part time contract.
This role involves maintaining extensive grounds while responding to diverse service levels in a sensitive manner.
Successful candidates will have a passion for nature, landscaping experience, and a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks like mowing and trimming
• Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with planting, watering, and fertilizing plants
• Identify and report hazards and maintenance needs
• Support projects like snow removal and cleanup
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
• Clean driver’s license and driving abstract
• Mechanical inclination with training or experience preferred
• Previous landscaping or horticultural experience beneficial
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work outdoors
