As a Psychiatrist in Richmond, you will work within the Richmond Adult Mental Health Team and the Assertive Community Treatment Team.
This 0.6 FTE and 0.4 FTE role offers a unique prospect to provide interdisciplinary care for patients experiencing severe mental illness.
The supportive Department of Psychiatry ensures a cooperative environment with excellent mentorship and community programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing assessments for adult patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings
• Provide intensive outreach treatment for complex needs
• Participate in teaching and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to on-call service rotations
Requirements:
• Current CPSBC and CMPA membership
• Fellowship in Psychiatry (FRCPC) or equivalent
• Experience in community psychiatry is preferred
• Ability to teach medical professionals and residents
• Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
