Pay Scale: $28.00/Hr – $40.00/Hr

Work Hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, some overtime

Job brief

Responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining and replacing HVAC mechanical systems. You will diagnose problems, explain these to customers in transparent, non-technical terms, relay costs to customers, and offer alternative solutions. You will order and collect parts once the customer gives approval, and communicate with the supervisor regarding challenges.

Responsibilities
Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning reheat coils and air handling units, and monitoring and calibrating air handling units.
Improving air quality by cleaning ducts to optimize efficiency.
Installation of all Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation mechanical equipment.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
Maintaining service truck.




Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Health and Safety Act.
Consistently using ServiceTitan for digital work orders and reporting requirements.
Material ordering and inventory management.
Use power tools & hand tools.
Maintain timely communications with customers, supervisors and management to keep them informed of job status.

Requirements
313A refrigeration license.
ODP license.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience installing and repairing ventilation systems in residential applications.
Solid attention to detail.
Ability to conduct infield diagnostics, provide comprehensive next steps and do in-field quotes/invoicing using ServiceTitan.
Robust customer communication skills.
