Midland-Ellesmere Radiology & Ultrasound and Lawrence and Midland Radiology Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our busy outpatient imaging clinic. The successful candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations while delivering exceptional patient care in a skilled and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations.
Verify patient information and explain procedures.
Acquire diagnostic images according to clinic protocols.
Process and archive studies using RIS/PACS.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow infection prevention, quality assurance, and safety standards.
Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
Requirements
Current CMRITO registration (required).
Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS credentials preferred.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and anatomy.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous clinical experience is an asset.
