Burnside Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician who is looking for a great career opportunity to join our amazing practice family. Your Primary Roles:
Providing top quality nursing and patient care in a busy environment.
Surgery - using up to date anesthetic protocols and equipment for monitoring and surgical assisting
Dental procedures including scaling, polishing and digital dental radiographs
Maintaining accurate patient medical records
Client communication/education
-Perform various diagnostic tests using microscope and in house IDEXX analyzers
Other tasks include: Venipuncture to place IVCs, draw bloods, vaccines, and medication administration.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a Veterinary Technician program required
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy, client care and customer service
Ability to multitask under pressure in a busy stimulating setting
Works effectively as a team or on your own, with or without supervision
Existing knowledge of veterinary computer software system (Avimark) preferred, but not required
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
