As part of the Heartland Constructors maintenance team, this role requires reading schematics, testing, and installing electrical components while adhering to Alberta Electrical Code standards.
With diverse tasks from troubleshooting control systems to collaborating with other trades, you will contribute to the reliability of plant operations.
The position operates on a shift of 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and test electrical systems for performance
• Troubleshoot control system issues for minimal downtime
• Work on motors,
transformers, and lighting systems
• Complete hazard assessments and safety documentation
• Collaborate with trades to ensure plant reliability
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Electrician Ticket mandatory
• Valid Driver’s License required
• In-person Standard First Aid certification
• Knowledge of mine and tailings operations preferred
• Experience with safety certifications needed
