PAY: $26.25 per hour

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Lead Hand with experience in sign fabrication. This leadership role requires the ability to guide a team, manage multiple projects, and ensure high-quality production outcomes.

This is a full-time position based in Orillia working 42 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7AM to 4:45PM and Friday 7AM to 12PM with the possibility for voluntary overtime.

This role is eligible for group advantages after completing 2 months of employment and a boot allowance after completing the 3 month probationary period.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team on multiple jobs




Train team members on safe and efficient operation of brakes, shears, and other tools
Review drawings and specifications
Provide clear direction to team members
Perform quality inspections and validate specifications

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES
Experience in sign fabrication is required
Leadership or lead-hand experience preferred
Proficiency in using brakes, shears, and related equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong leadership, communication, and team-coordination skills
Basic understanding of ERP systems an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
