Our client is currently seeking an experienced Furniture Framer to join their team in Vaughan, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of furniture framing experience, with a strong background in constructing chairs, sofa beds, and upholstered furniture frames. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in producing high-quality furniture.

Responsibilities
Build and assemble wooden frames for chairs, sofa beds, and other upholstered furniture.
Read and interpret production drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components accurately.
Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Ensure frames meet quality standards and production specifications.
Inspect finished frames for accuracy, strength, and durability.
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements




Minimum 2 years of experience as a Furniture Framer.
Hands-on experience framing chairs, sofa beds, and upholstered furniture is required.
Ability to read and understand production drawings and measurements.
Robust knowledge of woodworking techniques and furniture construction.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to lift materials and work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
