Duties & Responsibilities
General maintenance and repair tasks
Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance requests on a wide variety of specialized equipment
Work on general structural maintenance and semi-skilled trade work
Carry out preventative maintenance according to established program schedule
Provide a wide variety of support service to other departments
Provide expertise and assistance regarding casino facilities and equipment to internal and external parties
Carry out regular exterior maintenance, weather permitting, ie: maintain the lawn, pick up garbage, signage, snow removal, etc.
Provide a clean and secure casino setting for staff and guests
Take direction from management when called upon
Qualifications
Communicate clearly and accurately verbally and written
Previous maintenance experience is preferred
Provide friendly, timely, and accurate client service
Follow direction and work within established procedures
Work independently, be reliable, and take personal responsibility for tasks and deadlines
Must be a team player, demonstrating respect and consideration of others
Be able to operate basic janitorial equipment, including shampooers, vacuums, etc
Previous maintenance experience would be an asset or experience in a trade relating to maintenance
