Job Title: Night Shift Health Care Aide
Location: Richmond Lodge, Retirement Residence
Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Night Shift Health Care Aide to join our team in a retirement home setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the health, safety, and comfort of residents during overnight hours, while ensuring a calm and secure workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their care plans
Monitor residents throughout the night and respond promptly to call bells or emergencies
Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
Support a clean, safe, and respectful living workplace




Follow all infection prevention and control protocols
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare or retirement home setting is preferred
Medical knowledge relevant to resident care
Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours
Reliable transportation and ability to consistently commute to the residence
Must complete all required onboarding training and ongoing mandatory training
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and qualified demeanor

Pay: $18.00 per hour
