Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus with enthusiasm
Take reservations via phone or online, demonstrating professional phone etiquette
Manage guest seating arrangements and coordinate with the serving staff for smooth service flow
Assist servers with guest needs, including refilling drinks or delivering special requests
Operate POS systems such as Micros to process orders and payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient restaurant operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly desirable; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
Strong guest services skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with hotel or restaurant POS systems is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
