Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Educator and Driver to join our OSC team. The ideal candidate must have driving experience and a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a secure, nurturing, and educational setting. This role involves driving a 15-seater van and the candidate must have clean driving records, experience and confidence in driving.

Duties
Ensure children’s safety and well-being during transport
Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness
Support classroom activities and daily routines
Adhere to daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines

Qualifications
Alberta Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1, 2 or 3 Certificate
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Clean Driver’s Abstract
Current First Aid/CPR Certification




Transparent Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector
Previous driving experience is preferred
Background in out of school care and early childhood education is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
A nurturing attitude and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
