Overview

We are a manufacturing company seeking skilled installers to handle the installation of cast stone fireplace mantels. This role involves in office work, coordination with clients and project teams, and ensuring installations meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Install cast stone fireplace mantels
Install indoor and outdoor fireplace mantels, including gas and wood-burning units
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation guidelines
Prepare job sites, including measuring, leveling, and surface prep
Operate tools and equipment such as lifts, drills, and cutting tools
Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing of installed products
Follow all safety procedures and building codes
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients on-site
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements
Proven experience (5 years) in concrete installation, masonry, or similar trades




Experience installing fireplace mantels or similar structural features is strongly preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and plans
Strong understanding of construction safety practices
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel to job sites within the region

Preferred Qualifications
Certification or training in masonry, construction, or fireplace installation
Experience with gas line connections (where applicable and licensed)
Familiarity with precast concrete products
Forklift or equipment operation experience

Compensation

$250 - $500 / day

Job Types: Full time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
