Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a secure, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. This position requires a love for animals, solid customer service skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks.

The ideal candidate would also be flexible to cover vacation/sick days as well as picking up more hours during busy periods, if desired . This role would be ideal for someone in school/ with another flexible part time job. Looking for someone who can commit for 6months minimum

Weekday hours 7am to 6:30pm

SATURDAYS 9am-5pm

Duties
Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
Maintain cleanliness in the daycare area by regularly cleaning up after the dogs and sanitizing play spaces.
Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their individual needs.




Monitor dog behaviors and report any concerns to management.
Assist in managing the check-in and check-out process for clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Provide updates to pet owners about their dog's day, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Participate in training sessions for new staff members on proper dog handling techniques and daycare procedures.

Experience
Previous experience working with dogs or in a pet care environment is preferred but not required as paid training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients effectively.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
