Job Overview

Duties
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for bakery items.
Rolling doughs, baking in clean and maintained workplace.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes, ensuring proper handling and presentation.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions about our offerings.
Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional food preparation or packaging tasks as needed.

Skills




Background in restaurant or food service environments will be an asset.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, baking, and cooking methods.
Robust customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor.
Understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry.
Kitchen experience including familiarity with baking equipment and tools
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Basic packaging skills to ensure products are presented attractively for sale or delivery.
