As part of the Older Adult Mental Health team, you will be instrumental in addressing the complex needs of older adults experiencing mental health disorders and substance use issues.

Your role emphasizes compassionate patient care, facilitating therapy sessions, and coordinating with families and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

You will also serve as a clinical resource for staff within inpatient and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough psychogeriatric assessments and interventions
• Develop tailored treatment and care plans for clients
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions




• Act as liaison among healthcare teams and community resources
• Provide educational support to families and caregivers

Requirements:
• Valid registration as a Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• Minimum three years in geriatric mental health experience
• Proficient knowledge of concurrent disorders and psychopharmacology
• Proven ability to facilitate patient counseling effectively
• Current BC Driver's License required
