Responsibilities
Efficiently pick items from designated locations using order picker equipment and ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit and proper labeling for delivery
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and operational efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals while adhering to quality standards
Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is highly preferred
Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is essential
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
Experience with order picker machines or other warehouse automation tools is a plus
Construction or industrial experience that involves load & unload operations is advantageous
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation accuracy and safety compliance
